Hidden inside The Truman Brewery, far from the snowy tundra of the North Pole, lies a secret Christmas wonderland like no other. Welcome to Humbug: The Immersive Christmas Dive Bar, where the festive cheer flows as freely as the booze!

Here, you'll encounter a weary Santa and a few mischievous locals in a fun-filled festive adventure packed with live performances, outrageous games, and plenty of Christmas shenanigans. Your mission? Cheer up Santa and turn Humbug into a full-blown festive bash, complete with DJs, dancing, and more. Part bar, part show, part interactive experience—Humbug has it all!

Tucked away in an old Brewery on Brick Lane lies a hidden gem waiting for those in the know!

There are three ways to enjoy the Humbug experience.

- Balcony: Take your Christmas to new heights! Literally. With our Balcony Seating you’ll getall the festive fun, all the action, and a birds-eye view of the Christmas mayhem below!

- General Admission: Dive into the heart of the story. Our GA ticket puts you right in the middle of the action where Christmas is literally all around you.

- VIP Experience: Double the fun, double the cheer! Our VIP ticket adds an extra sparkle to your night, turning it from okay to sleigh.

The Truman Brewery has a convenient Central London location on Brick Lane, and is easily reached by tube, rail, bus or on foot.

The closest tube station to Humbug is Shoreditch High Street (Walking distance: 5 minutes).

The overall experience lasts around 2 hours total followed by an after party.

There won’t be a box office, but you will be able to purchase tickets (subject to availability) by scanning one of the QR codes located around the entrance. Tickets are limited so we recommend booking in advance.

Doors open at 2pm for matinee and 7pm for evening, with the experience starting at 2.30pm and 7.30pm. Please arrive within the half an hour entry period to ensure you don’t miss a single moment of the festive fun!

Please note; performance times on Sunday are 12pm and 5pm.

All that cheering up can workup an appetite. Grab a delicious burger and fries from our Bang Bang Burger street food truck or hit the bar for a festive tipple. Here at Humbug, we want visitors to eat, drink, and be merry!

If you’ve booked via Kaboodle, simply log into your Kaboodle account via the link provided in your confirmation email and get adding!

If you’ve booked via a third party ticket agent, you’ll need to wait until you get there to buy food and drink… Don’t worry though, we’ve got lots and it’s worth the wait!

We know that life happens and sometimes, things just don’t go our way! If you’re running late, don’t worry, you’ll still be able to enter the experience. But be warned…you will miss important parts of the show, and story, so we do recommend trying your best to get here on time!

Yes! We understand that there are exceptional circumstances and reasons why you might not be able to come as planned and, as such, are happy for you to reschedule your visit to a different date.

Please note, changes are subject to availability and must be made at least 7 days before your booked date. Any changes made within the 7 days prior to your arrival will not be considered. If you are moving from an off-peak ticket to a peak ticket or are changing to a more expensive ticket type, you will be required to pay the difference. If you are moving to a cheaper ticket price, no refund will be given.

We get it—immersive experiences can be a little intimidating, but don’t worry! You can be as involved as little, or as much you like. Grab a drink at the bar and let the magic of Christmas unfold around you, or dive headfirst into the action and interact with the Humbug locals. Either way, you’re in for an unforgettable night.

Unfortunately,tickets for Humbug are non-refundable. You are welcome to exchange your tickets to another date, subject to availability at the time of the request. Please see more information above.

Just like in a real dive bar, seating inside Humbug is shared. Simply rock up with your party and find yourself a spot – yours for the night. We’ll do our best to accommodate larger groups, but private tables cannot not be guaranteed.

Not at all! Just come along in whatever you fancy, but anything Christmassy is obviously welcome!

Though red is still his colour, Santa’s all about going green these days—E-tickets only,please! Just have your E-ticket ready on your mobile when you arrive.

Due to general nature of the experience (and the provision of booze) we strictly enforce an 18+ policy here at Humbug. At the request of our jolly (but firm)landlord, ID’s may be checked on arrival, so make sure you have yours handy –or risk facing the naughty list!

If you’ve misplaced your tickets, don’t worry! Drop an email to our ticketing team on humbugchristmas@kaboodle.co.uk and they’ll be able to get these resent to you.

Sorry folks, no under-18s allowed. Even if they’re with a responsible adult, they’ll have to wait until they’re older to join in the festive fun.

Yes, coats and bags can be checked into the cloakroom. Price for clothing items is £2 (per person) and £3 for bags. There is limited room so please travel light.

Absolutely! There’ll be plenty of opportunities to capture some festive photos throughout the experience, including the chance to snap a selfie with the big man himself.(If you ask him nicely of course!)  Don’t forget to tag us in your photos using the hashtag #BarHumbug and we’ll re-share our favourites.
